When 79-year-old Jim Collier was just 16, he was given a ’36 Ford — and that was the last Ford he ever owned. He actually became a Chevy man, and not a casual one by any stretch.
His desire for cars that were readily accessible, reliable, and something he could afford within a low-income town increased enough to grow a collection that he continued to enjoy for more than four decades. This collection has spanned an ownership of 60 cars Read More
A few weeks ago, SCM had a contest inviting participants to predict, without going over, the total sales of Monterey. The total of all sales results released by the Monterey auction companies has been calculated and verified, and we are pleased to announce that Jay Paul Santangelo was the winner, and as such, has been named the 2016 SCM Monterey Guru. Jay’s prediction of $342,850,000 was just about $500k shy of the $343,359,956 final grand total. Jay will receive $500 PLUS a three-year Read More

Thank you to everyone that supported my ride to fight cancer last year. We raised over $20,000 — and with your support, we can do even more this year!
As many of you know, my family and I were struck by the news that our dear friend, Arianna Dougan, was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, an all too common childhood cancer. At the time Ari was only three years old.
