Maybe you’re just sick and tired of being stuck at home by now.

No one can blame you or your family for feeling that way.

But we’re not out of this yet. Over 42k of our fellow citizens have died because of this virus since January. It’s currently the leading cause of death in the United States.

But what’s the point of getting back to what was normal, if so many are no longer there?

Federal guidelines, as well as many local and state officials still say that the best course is to stay away from other people to limit the spread of the coronavirus. The longer it takes to abide by the expert advice, the longer this whole damn thing takes.

And that means it’ll be even longer before we can start kicking tires we don’t own.

In auction news, VanDerBrink Auctions sent out notice over the weekend that their upcoming sales are impacted by the pandemic.

The Virgil Marple Collection will still hammer down on May 30, but it’ll be an online-only sale with no in-person bidding. There will be a preview on May 23 for the people that want to physically inspect the cars in Independence, MN, before bidding online the following weekend. VanDerBrink asks that you wear a mask and maintain six feet of distance between people.

The Ken “Pinky” Seefert Collection will follow online on June 6. Preview details have not yet been announced for this Stillwater, MN, based sale, but we’ll let you know just as soon as they’re ready.

Stay safe and keep washing your hands.
