Leake Auction Company wrapped up their Tulsa auction with sales soaring to $11.8 million and a sell through rate of 68 percent. Leake Auction Company wrapped up their Tulsa auction with sales soaring to $11.8 million and a sell through rate of 68 percent. The auction was held in the Expo Building on the Tulsa Fairgrounds, June 7-9. The top selling car was a 1937 Packard Closed Touring Retro Rod, selling for $143,000 with the buyer’s premium included.

During the three-day auction, crowds watched 696 cars cross the two-lane auction block, with 470 cars selling. This year’s auction featured a special group of memorabilia that included car signs, gas pumps, pedal cars, lanterns, die cast cars and more. 250 pieces were offered, totaling $71,000 in sales.
“We hit a homerun in Tulsa this year,” said Richard Sevenoaks, president of Leake Auction Company. “We deeply appreciate the confidence our consignors have entrusted in us to sell their vehicles. Many new buyers joined us this year, and we are extremely pleased with the growth we are experiencing. We are looking forward to our Dallas sale in November.”
