Wednesday, July 29, 2009 — Due to the current market climate, Carlisle Auctions announces that the 2009 edition of the All-Corvette Auction will be integrated into the Fall Carlisle Collector Car Auction, held October 1 and 2 at the Carlisle Expo Center, just a block and a half from the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds.

Carlisle Auctions Senior Manager Bill Miller III said, “Carlisle Events wants to provide our customers the best opportunity to buy or sell their collector car. The Fall Carlisle Auction is currently shaping up to be the best we have had since its inception and we would like to leverage the success of this auction for our Corvette customers. We already have some really exciting feature consignments and expect many more to come in leading up to the Fall Carlisle Auction in October.”

Feature Consignments for the 2009 Fall Carlisle Collector Car Auction Include:

• 1978 Corvette Pace Car with only 157 original miles

• 100% Original 1948 Cadillac with 23,000 original miles

• 1975 BMW 2002 with 14,000 original miles

Despite an ever-changing market, Carlisle Auctions will lead the way, making the auction experience fair, fun and profitable for everyone. Helping to do so are two programs unique to Carlisle: The No Consignment Fee offering and the Carlisle All-Original Hour. The idea behind the No Consignment Fee is simple: if your car does not sell, you don’t have to pay a consignment fee. The All-Original Hour features vehicles that are at or very close to their original condition. These rare time capsules are always at the center of the crowd’s attention.
