Louisville, KY. April 29, 2008 –-Join the adventure by participating in the Bluegrass 1000 Road Tour, October 6-9, 2008.
Classic cars and their owners will take to the most beautiful roads in Kentucky for the event. Registration for participation is being accepted now.
Accommodations will be top-drawer, and well-equipped support personnel will accompany the tour every mile to ensure that the trip is a pleasure for all participants.

This inaugural tour will cover 70 of Kentucky’s most scenic roadways, and proceeds will benefit the Bill Collins Parkinson’s Center at the Frazier Rehab Institute of Jewish Hospital and St. Mary’s Foundation.
The Bluegrass 1000 will cover approximately 250 miles per day for four days, with each day’s tour covering some of the most scenic and challenging back roads in the country. The route was designed to give participants the utmost in driving pleasure, while also exposing them to some of the premier attractions in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
The Bluegrass 1000 will make stops at Moonlit Bar-B-Q in Owensboro, Cumberland Falls, Red River Gorge, Natural Bridge, Elk Creek Vineyard and the Kentucky Speedway, where participants will get the chance to experience the high-banked Tri-oval track.
