Santa Monica, CA. May 13, 2008 – Gooding & Company is pleased to announce the addition of two full-time specialists, Andrew Reilly and Garth Hammers. Reilly and Hammers join the elite group of car and auction experts at Gooding & Company.

As a Specialist, Reilly joins Gooding & Company with more than 13 years of auction experience in the art and automotive arenas. He has developed broad appraisal experience working in this field, starting at Skinner’s Auctioneers in Boston and moving on to Christie’s in London. Reilly continued honing his skills while employed as an automotive appraiser at Bonhams & Butterfields, Inc. in San Francisco, California. A highly regarded motoring specialist, Reilly has been responsible for consigning and selling several award-winning Pebble Beach cars, including the acclaimed 1935 Bentley 3½ Litre ‘Aerodynamic’ Saloon, the Collection of Edwin C. Jameson, Jr. and the 1950 Jaguar XK 120 Alloy Competition Roadster. “Andrew Reilly is a natural fit for Gooding & Company. His integrity and experience as a seasoned auction executive will be a perfect match with our team,” said David Gooding, president and founder of Gooding & Company.

A ten-year veteran of the automotive services industry, Hammers has helped Gooding & Company at numerous auctions over the past several years. Growing up in a family who were past entrants of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, Hammers developed a love of automotive collecting early.

“Garth Hammers has been a dedicated member of our auction team for the past three years, and we are pleased to announce his full-time employment here,” commented David Gooding. “His exceptional client service skills and extensive car knowledge will compliment Gooding & Company’s high standards and we know he will be a valuable resource for our clients.”
