Effingham, IL – During the first weekend in February some of the automotive world’s top aftermarket suppliers gathered in Effingham, Illinois to attend Mid America Motorworks’ second annual M-Curve Quality Supplier Summit. This two day event played host to seventeen suppliers from all around the United States. While all those in attendance received awards, Mid America Motorworks bestowed this year’s top honor to CORSA® Performance Exhausts for their exceptional customer care and avid determination in creating positive experiences for both Mid America Motorworks and its customers.
For being the recipient of the prestigious M-Curve Supplier of the Year Award, Mid America Motorworks will donate a $4,000 scholarship to the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) in CORSA’s name. Jim Browning, Sr., founder and president of CORSA Performance Exhausts, accepted the award.
“It is a testament to the quality of the CORSA product and speaks to the exceptional talent of the entire CORSA team,” said Mr. Browning. “We’d like to thank Mid America Motorworks for this distinction and for being a valued CORSA customer for many years.”
Billy Boat Performance Exhaust and EMPI Inc. took home second and third place M-Curve honors respectively, applauded for providing superior product information and support. Reed Sportswear, meanwhile, garnered the Lifetime Achievement Award for supplying Mid America Motorworks with quality leather jackets and garments for nearly twenty years.
Annually, Mid America Motorworks partners with over one thousand suppliers. The summit is designed to recognize the outstanding efforts taken by those suppliers in maintaining strong relationships from which all involved parties, customers included, ultimately benefit. This year’s summit included tours of the Mid America Motorworks and Performance Choice facilities, round table discussions, and concluded with an elegant awards banquet on February 2nd.
