BLENHEIM, Ontario, Canada (September 3, 2007) – Calling all car enthusiasts! It is with great excitement that RM Auctions will join forces with the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) to host a gala ‘Night at the Museum’ charity auction on Wednesday, October 10, 2007.

To be held at the AACA Museum, Hershey, Pennsylvania, the gala event will present an evening of cars and fundraising at its finest, featuring a charity auction of exclusive automotive ‘experiences’, along with a special appearance by one of the industry’s greatest legends, Carroll Shelby. All proceeds from the auction will support the AACA Museum.

“RM Auctions is delighted to support the Antique Automobile Club of America by sponsoring the inaugural ‘Night at the Museum’ event,” said Rob Myers of RM Auctions.

“We are not only in the business of selling cars – but in celebrating the industry and providing unique experiences for our clientele, and car lovers alike, to gather together and share their collective passion.

“For serious car enthusiasts, this charity auction presents a unique opportunity to not only bid upon and ultimately walk away with some of the most sought after experiences in the car world, but to also contribute to and ensure the future of organizations such as the AACA.”

The evening, which will naturally have a strong automotive theme, will be built around the museum’s outstanding range of automotive exhibitions – one presenting a chronological history of automobiles over the past nine decades.

Interested bidders will have the opportunity to peruse the exceptional list of auction items from 7pm before the auction officially commences at 8pm sharp. Unlike traditional auctions which largely focus on keep-sake memorabilia, the benefit auction will focus on presenting a range of unique ‘money can’t buy experiences’, specially assembled by AACA and RM Auctions for the ultimate car enthusiast. Among the auction packages offered are:

– “Day in Detroit”, an insider’s tour of General Motors private Heritage Collection featuring over 800 vehicles from GM’s history.
– “Henry Ford Museum” – personal tour of the world famous Dearborn museum and archives.
– “The Jay Leno Experience” – a tour of Jay’s own Big Dog Garage collection and tickets to the live taping of the “Tonight Show”
– “Fun in Philly” – a tour of the private car collections of Philadelphians Fred Simeon and Dru Louis
– “Spa Day at Hershey Lodge – a luxury package including accommodations, spa experience.

Tickets to this not-to-be-missed event are $125 per person. For bookings, please contact Amanda Eshenour on 1-717-566-7100 ext. 116 or visit www.rmauctions.com

The ‘Night at the Museum’ charity gala, proudly sponsored by RM Auctions, will form part of the annual AACA Hershey Fall meet and will act as a prelude to RM Auctions’ inaugural ‘Vintage Motor Cars at Hershey’ event on October 12th and 13th 2007. RM Auctions was recently appointed as the official auction house of the Antique Automobile Club of America. The AACA’s annual Fall event held in the club’s hometown of historic Hershey, Pennsylvania is one of the largest and oldest antique automobile shows and flea markets in America making its debut in 1955.

Admission to RM’s “Vintage Motor Cars at Hershey” auction is by catalog only, which admits both the catalog holder and a guest. The full-color collectable catalog is available for $80 U.S. (plus shipping), by calling 800-211-4371 or visiting the company web site at www.rmauctions.com.
