Building on its reputation as the specialists for private and estate collection sales, RM Auctions, the world’s largest collector car auction house, has announced the addition of a new single-vendor sale to its ever-expanding 2010 calendar – The Milton Robson Collection, to be held in Gainesville, Georgia, November 13.

Well-known by automotive enthusiasts, the Robson Collection is the result of over 25 years of careful and meticulous acquisition by lifelong enthusiast and noted collector, Milton Robson. Spanning a range of marques and eras, the select series of 56 vehicles presents a wide variety of some of the finest and most desirable American automobiles produced. They range from a remarkable collection of Detroit muscle, which combine low-production and ultra-high specifications, through to a series of icons from the fifties, and a superb selection of Henry Ford’s original flathead V8s.

Featured highlights of the three different genres represented in the collection include: a trio of Pontiac GTO Judge Convertibles, including a Starlight Black ’69 Judge, one of only a select series equipped with the top-level Ram Air IV V8 and a four-speed transmission; a stunning, one-of-a-kind, supercharged 1953 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible; and an timeless and beautifully styled 1934 Ford Roadster.

“RM is pleased to be working with Mr. Robson in the presentation of many of his well-known cars. He joins an impressive list of prominent collectors whose motor cars we have had the privilege of offering over the years,” says Ian Kelleher, President and Chief Operating Officer, RM Auctions.

“RM is known for hosting more single-vendor sales than any other collector car auction house, and we pride ourselves on a strong track record for consistently exceeding high estimates at our private collection auctions. Stay tuned as we announce even more private collections in the coming months,” Kelleher adds.

The single-day auction is the latest in a string of private collection sales recently announced by RM for its 2010 calendar, which also includes The Pate Collection, to be held June 5 in Cresson, Texas, and Classic Muscle & Modern Performance, scheduled for June 19 in San Diego, California.

While the collector car market, as a whole, remained stable during the economic downturn, the boost in the number of single-owner collection sales to the RM calendar provides further signs of improvement for the hobby, as well as reflects RM’s unsurpassed capabilities in the cataloging, marketing and advertising of single-vendor sales.

The Milton Robson Collection event will be held November 13, 2010 at the Robson Estate in Gainesville, Georgia. For further information and event details, please visit www.rmauctions.com or call +1 519 352 4575.
