TULSA, OKLAHOMA (June 3, 2009) – A 4-door, 5-passenger 1936 custom Lincoln that was originally purchased by Richard Ringling will be auctioned at the 37th annual Leake Collector Car Show & Auction, June 12-14 in the QuikTrip Center at Expo Square. Since the custom Brunn Coach package was expensive, only 10 were ever built. Leake Auction Company will auction one of two that is known to still be in existence.

“With the limited production of this car, it is rare to see one up for auction, especially given the ownership in the Ringling Brothers family,” said Richard Sevenoaks, president of Leake Auction Company. “We do know that Jay Leno owns one of the two still in existence.”

The 1936 Lincoln Cabriolet is stamped with the number two out of the 10 that were manufactured. Full documentation of the car’s ownership will be provided to the winning bidder.

The 37th annual Leake Collector Car Show and Auction will take place June 12-14 in the QuikTrip Center at Expo Square. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Doors open at 9am daily. 750 cars are anticipated. Find out more at www.leakecarauction.com.
