More Star Cars! Here’s This Week’s Monterey Preview

The glossy Monterey catalogs are piling up here at SCM headquarters. Here are six headliners that we’re keeping our eyes on:

RM Auctions will offer the ex-Hotchkis Racing 1986 Porsche 962 IMS GTP (pictured above, RM estimate: $800k–$1m) at their sale in downtown Monterey. The auction takes place August 15–16. View the RM online catalog here.

A 1956 Maserati 250F  (Gooding estimate: $4m-$6m) is among the featured cars at Gooding & Company‘s Pebble Beach sale. The auction takes place August 16–17. View the Gooding online catalog here.

Bonhams will sell a 1937 Bugatti Type 57 Stelvio (Bonhams estimate: $1.1m-$1.3m) at their Carmel sale. The auction takes place August 14-15. Note that the Thursday auction session starting time has been changed to 5 p.m. View Bonhams’ full catalog as a pdf here.

A 1961 Ferrari 250 Series II Cabriolet (Contact Mecum for estimate) will cross the Mecum auction block in Monterey. The sale takes place August 14–16. View the current Mecum consignments here.

Russo and Steele has consigned a 1956 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing for Monterey. The auction takes place August 14–16.

You can view the Rick Cole consignments in downtown Monterey and then place your bid online any time between August 14 and 17. Headliners include a 1965 Ferrari 275 GTB Competizione Cliente (Contact Rick Cole for estimate).
