Mid America Motorworks invites you to mark the weekend of September 21-23 on your calendar. The occasion? The fourteenth annual Corvette Funfest, the largest gathering of Corvette enthusiasts in the world (nearly 50,000 this
past September). Started as a customer appreciation day in 1994, Corvette Funfest has become a must-attend three-day event for automotive enthusiasts.

Highlights of the free event include:
*VIP guests. In 2007, George Barris, the “King of the Kustomizers”, will make a special appearance. Barris is known for creating famous movie and TV cars, including the original Batmobile and the General Lee.

*A free concert. In 2005 the Beach Boys performed and in 2006 REO Speedwagon took the stage. Another great act is expected for 2007.

*Over 14,000 Corvettes on display. Mike Yager, founder of Mid America Motorworks, also has an extensive Corvette collection available for photography. Last month Yager was named one of North America’s Top 50 Automotive Collectors by Sports Car Market magazine.

Corvette Funfest is celebrated at the “Crossroads of America”- Effingham, Illinois. In this heartland location, surrounded by an iconic American car, Mike Yager has lived the American dream. Yager is an entrepreneur who began Mid America Motorworks in 1974 with a $500 loan. Today, the company handles $40 million dollars in sales per year. Each year, Yager shares his success with his customers through Corvette Funfest.
