A diverse and extensive lineup of exceptional motorcars will cross the block at Bonhams’ sixth annual auction at the Greenwich Concours d’Elegance on June 2nd.

With multiple models from Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Bentley, Cadillac, Jaguar, Lincoln, Mercedes-Benz, Pierce and Rolls-Royce, among others, the selection of European and American cars on offer is the best and most considerable to date.

Leading this exciting assembly is a 1930 Bugatti Type 43 Supercharged 2/4 Seater. Renowned as a racing car with a touring body, this fast and elegant open-top car has a well-documented history and is the recipient of a superb restoration by marque experts. It has since won multiple awards, most notably at the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, and is eligible for the world’s top historical events, including the Mille Miglia and Le Mans Classic.

An exceedingly rare 1967 Aston Martin DB6 Vantage Volante, formerly owned by famed composer Leonard Bernstein, is also sure to generate wide interest. One of just 29 made, this gorgeous convertible model benefits from the superior Vantage specifications making it a powerful brute cloaked in a tailored metallic suit.

Alongside the Vantage Volante will be another Aston Martin, a 1961 DB4 Series III Coupe. A rare original left-hand drive model, this rakish sports car was delivered new to the United States where it has remained and been maintained in remarkable condition.

And of the many fine Rolls-Royces on offer are two particular standouts: a 1930 Rolls-Royce Phantom I Newmarket All-Weather Convertible Sedan and a 1923 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost Pall Mall Tourer. The former was originally delivered new to the owner of the Cincinnati Reds and is an immaculate and well-documented example with multiple concours awards to its credit. The latter is a beautiful and fully restored Great Gatsby-esque car that has been in single-family ownership since the 1930s and will be offered without reserve.

These are just a few of the more notable cars that will cross the auction block on Sunday, June 2nd at the lovely waterfront park in Greenwich, Connecticut, just 30 miles north of New York City. For a full auction list and more information, please visit www.bonhams.com/greenwich.
