NATIONAL PARK TOUR (2nd Year Offered)

When: June 7 – 11, 2010 (Monday – Friday)

Where: Begins in Flagstaff, Arizona and travels to Lake Powell (Glen Canyon National Recreation Area), Grand Canyon National Park (North Rim), Bryce Canyon National Park and Zion National Park.

Number of Corvettes Accepted: Limited to a small number.

Eligibility: Any Corvette 1953 to 2010.

Route: The route will cover 470 miles (no freeways or interstates). The entire tour is a labeled Rand McNally scenic route.

Theme: No worries, no thinking and no disappointments trying to plan where to stay and eat or what route to take. It’s nothing but great roads, great scenery and great Corvette entertainment.

Scenery: The best scenery the west has to offer starting in the mountain town of Flagstaff and visiting Lake Powell (Glen Canyon National Recreation Area) as well as three of America’s most beautiful national parks: Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks.

Included: Professionally organized tour, 4 nights deluxe lodging, 75% of meals, Lake Powell boat tour, group photo, great Corvette camaraderie, a comfort basket including a Bloomington Gold Tours cap and a route book with additional information on the tour area.

4TH ANNUAL ROCKY MOUNTAIN TOUR

When: July 26 – 30, 2010 (Monday – Friday)

Where: Begins in Flagstaff, Arizona and travels to Monument Valley and then onto Colorado to the San Juan Skyway towns of Cortez (Mesa Verde National Park), Durango and Silverton.

Number of Corvettes Accepted: Limited to a small number.

Eligibility: Any Corvette 1953 to 2010.

Route: The route will cover 400 miles (no freeways or interstates). 350 miles of the tour is a labeled Rand McNally scenic route.

Theme: No worries, no thinking and no disappointments trying to plan where to stay and eat or what route to take. It’s nothing but great roads, great scenery and great Corvette entertainment.

Scenery: Cool mountain pines of Flagstaff, the Painted Desert, Monument Valley, Mesa Verde National Park and the breath-taking beauty of the Colorado Rockies.

Included: Professionally organized tour, 4 nights deluxe lodging, 75% of meals, country-western chuck wagon dinner show, group photo, great Corvette camaraderie, a comfort basket including a Bloomington Gold Tours cap and a route book with additional information on the tour area.

NEW ROUTE 66/GRAND CANYON TOUR

Note: This tour has been rescheduled from Fall 2009 to Summer 2010.

When: August 20 – 22, 2010 (Friday to Sunday).

Where: Begins in Kingman, Arizona and travels on historical Route 66 to Hackberry, Seligman, Williams and Grand Canyon National Park (South Rim).

Number of Corvettes Accepted: No Limit.

Eligibility: Any Corvette 1953 to 2010.

Route: The route will cover 200 miles with 98 miles on historical Route 66 (the longest stretch left in America) and 150 miles of the route is a labeled Rand McNally scenic route.

Theme: What could be better than combining the history of Route 66 and the beauty of Grand Canyon National Park?

Scenery: Following old Route 66, the high plains and valleys give way to cool mountain pine country ending at Grand Canyon National Park.

Included: Professionally organized tour, great Corvette camaraderie, Bloomington Gold Tours cap and a tour participation memento.

Cost: $75 per Corvette.

NEW 1st ANNUAL VINTAGE 500 TOUR

When: September 22 – 26, 2010 (Wednesday – Sunday).

Where: Tour participants stay in Flagstaff, Arizona and travel to Sedona, Oak Creek Canyon, Sunset Crater Volcano & Wupatki National Monuments and Grand Canyon National Park (South Rim).

Number of Corvettes Accepted: Limited to a small number.

Eligibility: 1953 to 1973 Corvettes; Bloomington Gold award winners can achieve the new Tour Certified Award.

Route: The route will cover 500 miles (no freeways or interstates). The entire tour is a labeled Rand McNally scenic route.

Theme: A vintage Corvette tour challenging driver and machine with 500 miles of canyons and mountain splendor while enjoying the beauty of the great southwest.

Scenery: Cool mountain pine forest, red rock canyon country of Sedona and Grand Canyon National Park.

Included: Professionally organized tour, 4 nights deluxe lodging, 75% of meals, trailer parking at host hotel, IMAX movie at the Grand Canyon, support team (tow trucks) following tour, security at all restaurants & host hotel, group photo, great Corvette camaraderie, a comfort package including a Bloomington Gold Tours cap and a route book with additional information on the tour area.
