Morris & Welford LLC, established and well-respected historic motor car consultants and brokers, announce an exciting new dimension to their company. They are delighted to open a UK branch of the business to augment their existing California and Connecticut offices, offering another dimension to their international clientele.
Mark Donaldson, having recently completed a four year term in the classic car department at Christie’s auction house in both the UK and Los Angeles, will operate Morris & Welford UK Ltd from rural Hampshire in the South of England. The office space, situated ideally in terms of airport and motorway access, is located at the Phoenix Green Garage in Hartley Wintney, known to many as ‘the spiritual home of the VSCC’ (Vintage Sports-Car Club) since the much-heralded club was founded there back in 1934.
An elated Mark Donaldson stated, “I have known both Miles and Malcolm for many years, and it is with great pleasure that I shall now be working alongside two of the most recognized authorities within the industry. Their integrity and dignified approach to business has ensured trustworthy and long-lasting relationships and I am eager to uphold that prestigious mantle in the vibrant European market.”
Morris & Welford are uniquely positioned within the collector car market as their offices will now cover half the world, operating across two Continents and in three time zones, allowing them to provide superior client service when it comes to sourcing or offering significant historic automobiles.
