A very big cat — in the form of a 1993 Jaguar XJ 220 with just 541 miles on the clock — will cross the block at Russo and Steele’s Monterey Auction.

This barely exercised Jaguar supercar once held the title of the world’s fastest production car, and it is capable of 0-60 mph in 3.8 seconds, with a top speed of 217 mph.

Russo and Steele’s Monterey Auction runs from August 18-20 at Fisherman’s Wharf in downtown Monterey.
