Bruce Jennings purchased #84460 from Hoffman Motors in January 1958 along with w/ Lightweight GT #84461, now in the Collier Collection. The second owner was Porsche/VW dealer Harry Weber, who raced the Carrera GT Speedster in black livery with a white Playboy Bunny logo on each rear quarter panel. Significant West Coast race history: Dave Tatom, 1st Place in San Francisco Regional Road Races at Laguna Seca in 1960, which was the cover story in Sports Car Magazine January 1961. Don Dickey, John Grove, John Barneson and Barber, are other photo-documented drivers at major West Coast tracks.
