Who: Host Keith Martin with Bill Noon
What: Symbolic Motors — SCM Live!
Where: Wherever you are — it’s online via Zoom
When: Thursday, August 20 at noon PST.

What’s happening in the market today? What’s being sold, and for how much?

We tackle those questions and more each week on SCM Live, our Zoom-based SCM presentations held each Thursday at noon, PST.

This week, all SCMers are invited to join Keith Martin as he takes a trip to Symbolic Motors to visit with Bill Noon. They’ll discuss the current market and look at featured cars from Symbolic’s inventory. Symbolic has been an SCM advertiser for over 30 years.

Bill Noon was born on a farm in New England. He attended a private Catholic boys’ school, then the Maine Maritime Academy. He was an officer in US Navy, did two-tours in the Gulf during Iran/Iraq tanker wars, sailed merchant ships, fought pirates, retired, married, has three lovely children and been playing with old cars for the past 30 years.

Noon and Martin will look at four cars from Symbolic, including cars currently for sale and cars that have already sold. Current offerings will include a 1957 Alfa Romeo Sprint Veloce Lightweight “Alleggerita” and a 1957 Maserati 300S Fantuzzi Long-Nose Spyder — an ex-factory team car and raced by Fangio to four first overall finishes in a row. Previous sales highlighted this week will include a 1989 Porsche 930 Turbo and a 1955 Lancia Aurelia B24S Spider America.

You’ll have a chance to ask questions via chat, and you’ll also be able to vote on which of these cars you’d like to have in your own garage.
