Fred and Sue Leydorf’s 1954 Ferrari 375 MM took Best in Show Foreign at the 2019 Concours of America. They Leydorfs have owned the car since 1969 — it’s one of just six with a low body design, and it’s the only one to feature a leather interior.
Best in Show American went to a 1938 Graham 97 presented by Bill Johnston and Ron Elenbaas. The car is one of two Saoutchik-bodied supercharged Grahams, and was displayed at at the 1938 Paris Auto Salon.
This year’s Enthusiast of the Year award went to Bill Warner, who prented a 1971 Ferrari Daytona. The Grand Marshall of the event was Wayne Carini, who showed a 1932 Ford known as “Moal Speedway.”
This year marked the 41st anniversary of this concours staple, held on the grounds of the Inn at St John’s in Plymouth, MI from July 26-28.
