The Oregon Porsche Club Northwest Passage rally starts June 2, and we’re busy getting the 2006 SCM Elise prepped for that. We’ve just learned that Team SCM will have five cars this year: John and Carlyn Draneas in their 2005 Elise, Michael Pierce and Paul Katz in Michael’s C4 Callaway Twin Turbo “B2K” Corvette, Ed and Judy Shultz up from LA in their late-model 911, and What’s My Car Worth producer Roger Williams, coming out from Connecticut to drive the SCM Boxster S. Cult wine shops are being raided as we speak!

We’re also setting the wheels in motion for our annual trip to Bloomington Gold this June, which immediately follows our Memorial Day weekend trek to Central Oregon for the three-day Pacific Coast Rover club meet. Speaking of Rovers, have we mentioned that we recently bought a 1984 Euro Defender 90 Turbo Diesel, fully kitted out with Scorpion off-road competition suspension and that it should arrive today?
