Newly formed McLaren Golf, an offshoot of McLaren Automotive, has released a new product for the fairways rather than the highways. The professional-level Series 1 golfing irons are blade style for maximum control but said to be more forgiving than traditional muscle-back irons due to a new internal weighting system. Meanwhile, the cavity-back Series 3 set will appeal to a broader range of amateur players, while featuring advanced McLaren Structural Mesh external architecture that also benefits its Series 1 counterparts.
