Gooding & Company announces a few early consignments for its 2012 Amelia Island Auction on Friday, March 9.  

The record-breaking auction house will once again present a variety of top-drawer collector cars at its annual Northern Florida auction on the breathtaking grounds of the Omni Amelia Island Plantation, including a sophisticated 1953 Fiat 8V Zagato (estimate $750,000 – $900,000), a matching-numbers 1956 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing (estimate $700,000 – $900,000) with factory-installed Rudge wheels, an impressive 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 (estimate $275,000 – $350,000) and a concours-restored 1947 Ford Sportsman (estimate $225,000 – $275,000).

Gooding & Company will be conducting its annual Amelia Island Auction on March 9, 2012 at 1 p.m., at the Racquet Park located at the Omni Amelia Island Plantation at 6800 First Coast Highway in Amelia Island, one mile south of the Amelia Island Parkway. Guests may preview the cars on Thursday, March 8th, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Friday, March 9th, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  An auction catalogue for $75 admits two to the viewing and auction.
