SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – (January 14, 2007) – In tribute to the late Chip Miller, a lifelong Corvette enthusiast and founder of Corvettes at Carlisle, Terry Michaelis, president of ProTeam Corvette, presents a check for $40,000 to the Chip Miller Charitable Foundation during the Barrett-Jackson Auction Gala in Scottsdale, Ariz. The donation was made in Miller’s honor to the foundation, which was formed by Miller’s family to raise funds for the research, education and awareness of Amyloidosis and related diseases following his death from the disease in 2004. ProTeam Classic Corvette Collection & Sales and The “Last(tm)” Corvette Sting Ray project had designated the Chip Miller Foundation as one of its official charities and pledged to match donations earmarked for the Foundation.
