With Scottsdale now behind us, it’s time to look forward to Rétromobile, which is just a few short weeks away.
Rétromobile is one of Europe’s largest automotive gatherings, with cars, parts, and memorabilia all for sale at the Paris Expo at the Porte de Versailles from February 5 through 9. Additionally, if you’re an auction buyer, it’s the place to be — some of the world’s premier collector cars are here, available via several globally-recognized auction houses that set up shop in Paris alongside the show.
RM Sotheby’s sale is February 5 at Place Vauban in Paris. Look for a 1955 Jaguar D-type, a 2015 Lamborghini Veneno, and a 1972 Ferrari 365 GTS/4 Daytona. See the catalog here.
Bonhams’ striking Les Grandes Marques du Monde au Grand Palais sale is February 6, with lots including a 1952 Pegaso Z-102 2.8-liter cabriolet, a 1934 Talbot AV105 Brooklands Sports racer, and a 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 Touring. See the cars here.
Artcurial’s catalog of offerings at this year’s event, to be held February 7 in Paris, is now live. A total of 167 lots will be on offer at Salon Rétromobile at the Porte de Versailles, including a 1966 Porsche 906, a 1991 Ferrari F40, and a 1938 Alfa Romeo 6C 2300 B Lungo cabriolet Worblaufen. See them all here.
In addition, Artcurial is also hosting a Racing, Flying and Yachting sale on February 8, including 170 lots of posters, timepieces, junior cars, and a Maserati Tipo 61 Birdcage frame and body master. See the lots here.
