Sale Details:SOLD at $638,304

Lot #:153

Condition Description
4.4-L V12, 6×2-bbl, 5-sp. Originally Marrone with beige leather, now the usual retail red and 9 1/2-in Boxer rear wheels. Decent chrome, fresh tires. Interior, retrimmed in black with red accents, has not seen much wear, sports new carpets and mouse fur. No sense of who did the refurb, or when, but judging by clean and tidy motor (and the odo reading) it was not many miles ago. Italian titled (as a 1973). Just Ferrari Classiche certified, Red Book follows.
Market Opinion
A fairly average car. The curiosity is that the repaint and retrim don’t look very old, so why wasn’t it done in its original colors, as is the current convention? That doesn’t appear to have hurt the value much, though, selling for about the same as the aluminum-rebodied car in Paris the previous month (SCM# 6971768).
