This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Split-Window coupe body shell includes the roof structure, firewall, doors, floors and partial interior components. The front bodywork and much of the rear bodywork are missing. The seller tells us that it had been sitting outside before their acquisition and that the frame was discarded due to damage. This C2 Split-Window coupe project is now offered with a clean New Mexico title in the seller’s name.
The fiberglass body was originally painted in Riverside Red but is now largely unfinished. The front bodywork, and the rear valance and quarter panels are missing, while the driver’s side mirror, door handles, windshield wipers, and the windshield and split-window glass and trim moldings are retained.
The steering wheel, dashboard, clock, gauges, door panels and AM/FM push-button radio are retained, though the cabin and components show wear and damage. The five-digit odometer shows 21k miles. Total mileage is unknown.
A pair of seats, the rear brake drums and half shafts, the front drums and control arms, a steering box, and a few taillight parts are included in the sale.
