Monterey Car Week Starts Now! Here’s Our Final Star Car Preview

SCM is on the road, headed to Monterey. Here are six star cars with links to all the auction house catalogs:

RM Auctions will offer a 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 by Scaglietti (pictured above, RM estimate: $8m–$12m) at their sale in downtown Monterey. The auction takes place August 15–16. View the RM online catalog here.

The ex-Briggs Cunningham 1954 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing  (Gooding estimate: $3.5m–$4.5m) is among the featured cars at Gooding & Company‘s Pebble Beach sale. The auction takes place August 16–17. View the Gooding online catalog here.

Bonhams will sell a 1937 BMW 328 roadster (Bonhams estimate: $1m–$1.2m) at their Carmel sale. The auction takes place August 14-15. Note that the Thursday auction session starting time has been changed to 5 p.m. View Bonhams’ full catalog as a pdf here.

A 1953 Porsche 356/1500 “Pre-A” Reutter cabriolet (Mecum estimate: $350k–$450k) will cross the Mecum auction block in Monterey. The sale takes place August 14–16. View the current Mecum consignments here.

Russo and Steele has consigned a 1964 Shelby King Cobra for Monterey. The auction takes place August 14–16.

You can view the Rick Cole consignments in downtown Monterey and then place your bid online any time between August 14 and 17. Headliners include a 1962 Ferrari 250 SWB (Rick Cole for estimate: $8.5m–$9m).
